Still working on this book
Just a note here. Though there is very little (nothing really) on this blog, the book that inspired it is still very much a living project. This is something I'm learning about as an author. Books like this takes chunks of one's life to bring forth. One can't just set a date like a goal and produce a significant book. It has to be lived and traveled. You have to get there from here: no shortcuts.

- Whether accurately or not, I've been called, verbally or in document form, these things lately by people: Pastor, Doctor, Reverend, Chaplain, Major, Daddy, Son, Honey, Brother, Dude, Buddy, Genius (by my daughter after I gave her a cookie), Idiot, and Forest (as in "Run, Forest, Run!" shouted out the window of a car racing by me as I jogged). This is not a complete list, but it gives you some idea and probably more than satisfies any interest you may have had.
